The Firestone Heavy Duty Air Compressor item # F9499 can be mounted in any position or orientation. Firestone recommends it be installed on the frame rail of your 2016 Toyota Tundra. There is no specific spot the compressor is supposed to be installed, so essentially you can mount it wherever is the easiest and most convenient for you.
You can use either of the two mounting kits listed below to help with the installation process:
