I want to put the easy fold xt2 e-bike rack on my 2016 Jeep wrangler but I have a 12” tire on back can I use a extender without taking tire off. Plus be able to tilt it down to open trunk

From the center of the hitch pin of the Thule EasyFold XT part # TH903202 to the nearest upright portion of the rack is 8 inches so to determine how much of an extension you may need you would need to measure from the center of your hitch pin out to the furthest point out on the rear spare and compare that to the 8 inch measurement I mentioned.
Most likely an 8 inch extension like the part # C45791 would work well for you. If you needed something longer we have the # e48YR which is 18 inches long.
