What Is The Spacing Required Between Two Base Rails

Question:

I don’t have a instruction sheet but what’s the gap between first and second rail on my 2002 dodge 6 1/2’bed ?

You should have 22" from center to center of the rails (pictured below) in your kit # C16200. I typically get the first rail installed and then drop the hitch I plan on using into the first rail and use it to help set the second rail in place and keep it from moving around while I'm drilling the initial holes in the bed.
