Because they're manufactured in the US, I'd personally go with a Curt hitch.

Curt offers both the # C13409 and # C47HR Class III hitches. Both hitches have a higher weight capacity than the vehicle does, so any additional capacity would be a moot point as you'll be limited to the 1500 lb vehicle towing capacity.

The best hitch for you will depend on how visible you'd like it to be. The Curt # C13409 hangs under the rear bumper and is fully visible. Because of that, the installation is pretty simple. The Curt # C47HR is mostly concealed behind the bumper, with only the receiver tube and safety chain loops being visible so many folks find this one to be a better looking option. However, this comes at a higher cost with a more difficult installation process.

So, If you don't really care how visible the hitch is, you can go with the less expensive and easier to install Curt # C13409. If you'd prefer something that's more concealed and less obtrusive, the # C47HR would be a better choice. Personally, I'd go with the more concealed option.
