Question:

I want to replace the leaf springs on a single axle Gulfstream Vintage Cruiser 19 RBS. Have you replaced leaf springs on any of the single axle Vintage Cruisers? What do you reccommend? Thank You. I have a local installer, just need the right parts. Thanks.

I can help you determine the right replacement double-eye leaf springs for your Gulfstream 19RBS Vintage Cruiser travel trailer, though we don't have any way of knowing what specific ones you need. It's pretty easy though, as all you'll need to do is measure your current leaf springs from center-to-center of the spring eyes, and you also need to know the weight rating of your axle (which should be printed on a sticker or tag on the axle itself).

Leaf springs also flatten a bit over time, so you should go with ones that measure a bit shorter than what you currently have. For example, based on your trailer weight you may have a 3,500 lb axle, and if it measured 26-1/2" go with the 4-Leaf Double-Eye Spring for 3,500-lb Trailer Axles - 27" Long # e97SR.
