The green wire on your truck is the brake feed circuit that powers the brakes on the trailer. This wire needs to be connected to the blue wire on the brake controller.
I went to the warehouse and pulled the connector for the Ram Pickups, item # 3020-P, and found that the green wire on your truck that runs to the blue wire on the brake controller, should be installed between the yellow and white wires in the under dash connector.
The connections are as follows, the yellow wire on the truck is the power wire which is connected to the black wire on the brake controller. The green wire on the truck is connected to the blue wire on the brake controller, the white wire on the truck is connected to the red wire on the brake controller and the black wire connects to the white ground wire. Manufacturer wire colors change so your truck may have a red with tan stripe hot wire that connects to black and a white with red stop wire that connects to the red wire.
