Do B and W Fifth Wheel Hitches Require Capture Plates Like Pullrite Hitches

Question:

Hi there. I have a pull right fifth wheel sliding hitch for my Jayco fifth wheel camper. My son has a B and W fifth wheel hitch and wants to be able to pull my camper with his vehicle. His is not a sliding hitch. Can you tell me if I need a different capture plate for the B and W hitch versus the one I’m using now with my pull right, if I need another one, can you let me know the part number? Thanks.

B and W fifth wheel hitches do not require capture plates since they do not pivot like the Pullrite hitches do. So when using the B and W you would just need to take the capture plate off.
