Is The Furrion Chill HE Replacement Air Conditioner Easy To Swap In For A Dometic AC System

I am looking to replace are old rooftop ac, it is a domestic 57915.621 the old one uses a 14 x 14 opening and has a 6 pin connector. Will this unit be a easy fit.

Yes, removing the old Dometic unit will just require removing the four bolts that clamp it to the roof and unplugging the connector and pulling the unit out of the way for the Furrion Chill HE Replacement RV Air Conditioner Unit # FR26PR. You'll want to have an extra set of hands when moving the unit because dragging it along the roof can tear the roof membrane and/or gasket on the ac units. Once you have the new unit in place you can reinsert the four bolts to clamp the Furrion unit in place and plug in the wire harness into the controller.

It shouldn't take you more than an hour to complete the swap out, but like I said you'll want to have an extra person or two to help move the units around. I've attached one of John's installation videos below to help walk you through the process.
