The weight capacity of the Stromberg Multi-Fit hitch part # SC45MR is based on how you install it. If you weld it on it has a tongue weight capacity of 350 lbs and if bolted on 200 lbs. It is not rated for towing.

If you are welding this hitch on do you need to also bolt it on in order to have the 350 lb tongue or is welding it on sufficient?
