Question:
My 2019 Micro Minnie FBS is pulled by a 2004 Tundra with factory installed hitch. The Tundra hitch ball is 2.75inch higher than hitch ball on Micro Minnie when both are on concrete. I find it hard to lift the weight distribution bars onto ledge and need to use a PCV pipe for extra leverage. The average height of trailer in front average of two sides is .85inch higher than back. The Toyota Tundra ends up being 1inch higher in front as compared to back measuring by the fenders. Is there too much trailer weight on Tundra hitch? My question is How much should I lower my adjustable hitch?inch It is now in the highest possible position. I welcome your advice. Thank you ever so much for it.

In regards to the Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System like part # EQ37100ET, you'll see in the instructions (attached below) that the hitch ball on the vehicle need to be 0-1" above the coupler on the trailer. I get that placing the hitch ball higher could cause less sag (in theory) but this is incorrect. Unfortunately, even setting the system up properly is likely not going to produce the results you're after as based on some rough calculations, this trailer likely exceeds the weight limit for the vehicle. The only other thing that would help you is additional support like the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs part # F2245.
