Question:
I need to outfit my 2015 Honda Pilot to pull a trailer with electric brakes. The Pilot came with a factory-equipped hitch, but how would I know if I have a “tow package”? I would like the installation of the brake controller and 7 pin connector to be as “plug’n play” as possible.

It doesn't matter if you have the factory tow package or not, if you don't already have trailer wiring you can add this with the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness for Factory Tow Package part # 118265 which provides a connection point for a seven way plug. Please note, in order to mount this you'd also need the Mounting Bracket and Installation Hardware part # PK12711U. In order to add a controller, I recommend the Curt Assure Trailer Brake Controller part # C49UR with Curt Custom Wiring Adapter for Trailer Brake Controllers part # C51392. This is a complete plug-in play setup that won't require any splicing.
