Furrion Side Cameras Come On When Brake Pedal is Pressed

Question:
Furrion 7s camera system with side view. Wired side view cameras with trigger signals as per prints. Problem: touch my breaks and either the right or left camera comes on. It works fine when I turn on the blinkers.

In regards to the LED Marker Light RV Side Cameras part # FCE48TASL, there are only three wires you should be using. The brown and red wire get tied together and then attached to the running light power wire coming from the old light, the black wire get tied into the ground wire coming from the old light. I recommend checking over all the wiring to ensure you have it wired as such. I did a video on this exact process if you want to fast forward to the 10:00 mark in the video linked below.

Mine does this as well and it’s frustrating! I didn’t change any of the wiring since the instructions indicate we could ‘plug and play’ by sliding the camera into the existing side marker. Makes it very hard to use the rear camera for backing up and I’ll be contacting Furrion.

Yeah, checked and double checked and I have the same problem. Has anyone found a solution? I even went in and made sure I had independent grounds, traced to the 7 pin and everything is as the instructions say, but I still get one camera or thenl other when the brakes are pushed.
