What Type of Hardware is Used for the Brophy Camper Scissor Steps

Question:
Hello. Does the mounting bracket come with screws, or does it come with bolts,nuts, and lock washers? I think screws would be a easier install, I just didn’t know if screws could handle the load over time. Thank you!

Expert Reply:
In regards to the Brophy Camper Scissor Steps part # AS25, you'll be using (4) 1/4" x 1 1/2" long lag screws for installation of the mounting bracket. I'm sure Brophy has tested the type of hardware but you're welcome to swap these out with nuts/bolts if you have access to the back of the bracket on the other side of the body.
