Question:
Hello, I have a 2017 R-Pod Hood River and looking for replacement brake parts. The drums have very heavy grooving on both the magnet and braking surfaces. Not sure whats normal for trailer brakes but I assume this means I should probably replace everything brakes, drum/hub, bearings? Axle: Lippert, V000329357, 3000# pic attached Drum/hub assembly: TruRyde RVD-H-545 SZD SH pics attached Brakes: Self adjusting, only number I see is 1224503 pic attached Spindle has easy lube grease fitting. Can you recommend the parts needed planning to stick with self adjusting brakes if possible. Thank you!

Expert Reply:
Since the Lippert 3,000 lb axles use the same components as the 3,500 lb axle the hub drums you'd need are the # AKHD-545-35-K and the brake assembly set # AKEBRK-35-SA and you'd be set.
The hubs come with all of the bearings and seals you'd need and the brake assemblies are self adjusting as well.
