Yes, the Blue Ox Base Plate Kit # BLU86CR will fit your 2020 Ram 3500 Diesel Dually perfectly.
For a complete flat towing setup you will need a base plate kit, tow bar, safety cables, vehicle tow bar wiring, a supplemental braking system, and possibly a high-low adapter. Here is a complete list of parts I recommend for flat towing your Ram 3500:
- Blue Ox Base Plate Kit # BLU86CR
- etrailer XHD Non-Binding Tow Bar # e67ZR (comes with safety cables)
- Demco Tow Bar Accessory Kit # DM9523057
- Brake Kit # DM26VR (motorhome air brakes) OR # DM86VR (motorhome hydraulic brakes)
- High-Low Adapter (see attached article - Extensions # DM9523064 will be needed for this as well)
The etrailer tow bar has a higher weight capacity to safely pull your truck and comes with safety cables rated just as high - there is also some adjustment in the head of the tow bar to minimize the need for a high-low adapter.
Then I like recommending accessory kits because they come with a cover and locks for the tow bar as well as wiring to get your truck lights working while towing. The brake kits install permanently and are easy to set up when it's time to tow which is why I like both of them.
