looking to rebuild my Sterling tow bar. It has a serial number of 26326 which makes it the newer Sterling tow bar. My question comes as i thought that this tow bar had an 8000 lb. capacity, but your info online says that it only has a 6000lb capacity. Could you please clear up my confusion. ! Could you please clear up my confusion - 6000 or 8000 lb. 2. What is the correct bushing kit number? Ready to get back on the road after the rebuild. thanks for your help Marty

I reached out to Roadmaster with the serial number of your Roadmaster Sterling tow bar and based on it being an older bar, he said it has a 6,000lb capacity.
The Newer # RM-576 carries the 8,000lb capacity so if that's what you're needing you'd need to purchase a new tow bar.
Based on your serial number the correct replacement bushing kit is the # RM-910003-40.
