Question:

HI, I just bought a used 2020 Jeep Wrangler that appears to already have the Curt Base plate installed. Not sure about that but perhaps attached photos will help. Are the polished s available as parts and are there any other pieces for the base plate I would need to flat tow. Also, what non binding tow bar system and electrical hookup would I need . I can take additional pictures if these are not clear enough. Thanks!

I believe you have Roadmaster baseplates like # RM-521453-5 instead since the Curt baseplate that's confirmed to fit your 2020 Jeep Wrangler is a different style than what you have pictured. You best bet to confirm would be to remove the underbelly skid plate to get a better look at them to confirm. If they are Roadmaster branded then you'll need to fill out the form under the Installation Details on # RM-ARMS, which I've also attached below and send it in to Roadmaster to get the correct arms.

Since you were already setup with a baseplate, breakaway switch, and 6-pole socket I'd be willing to bet that you still have some sort of diode wiring for your light signals and possibly some sort of braking system in place so you'll want to do a little bit of exploring to see what all you have before going and buying something you don't need. You can pop out one of the tail lights to see if there's wiring in place. You'll either see a couple of diodes # RM-792 or a plug-in tee connector if you do have wiring in place. If you do all you'll need is the cable # RM-146-7 to connect to your motorhome's 7-way.

For the tow bar I also recommend our etrailer SD Non-Binding Tow Bar # e74ZR. This specific version is for Roadmaster Direct-Connect style baseplates, if you find you have something else we can swap to the correct version for it to be compatible. Our tow bar comes with quite a few extra features for a much more economical price than similar tow bars. The included safety cables are bracketed to the arms of the tow bar so you never have to worry about them hanging down and dragging on the ground and the head and shank offer a bit of adjustability to stay level between the motorhome and towed vehicle.

The last thing you'll need is a braking system, once you find out what exactly you have in the vehicle still we can see what options are available to go along with the braking type of the motorhome. If you want to let me know what your motorhome is I can look up the braking type as well.
