Perhaps you want to launch your boat at the lake, or maybe you'd simply like to haul your favorite gear around after parking your RV at the campsite. Whatever your plans are, you'll likely need your 2015-2018 Ford F-150 to get the job done, and that means you'll need to flat tow your truck behind your motorhome. Note that only 4WD F-150 trucks may be flat towed—2WD trucks should only be towed with all wheels off the ground.
For a complete flat towing setup on a 2015-2018 Ford F-150, you will need a number of components, including base plates, a tow bar, safety cables, towbar wiring, and a supplemental braking system. The information below pertains to F-150s with either EcoBoost or standard engines. Compatibility with special edition models such as the F-150 Raptor may vary (refer to Fitguide for a confirmed fit).

I don't see Blue Ox listed as a recommendation. The RV (2108 Forest River Sunseeker 3010DS) I purchased has a complete Blue OX system, but i don't think the included tow bar is large enough (Alpha 2 w/32") to support the F150 base plate. Trying to decide to upgrade the tow bar or purchase a completely new system. Your thoughts?
