Whats the difference between this Curt and the CTA-280? One is branded Curt?? Who makes the CTA-280 then? Is either one made in USA?? BASICALLY If it were Id spend the extra money over the CTA-280. Thank you

The only difference between the Curt Channel-Mount Coupler - Squeeze Latch - 2-5/16" Ball - 15,000 lbs # C25328 and Trailer Coupler - Adjustable Channel Mount - Squeeze Latch - Black - 2-5/16" Ball - 15,000 lbs # CTA-280 is the manufacturer. Curt makes the # C25328 while Ram makes the # CTA-280, but and while neither is made in the USA we do have an option for that if you'd like.

The Buyers Products Cast Coupler - Adjustable Channel Mount - Auto Latch - 2-5/16" Ball - 15K # 3370091550 is made in the USA and will fit the same 3" channel as the other two. Otherwise, you can also get this with the channel included, and is made in the USA, the Buyers Products Coupler w/ 5-Position Adjustable Channel - Weld-On - 2-5/16" Ball - 15,000 lbs # 3370091555.
