I recommend installing either the Tekonsha 4-Way # 118618 or 7-Way # 22112 depending on your needs for the type of trailer you will need to tow. The 4-way is primarily used for small single axle utility trailers, while the 7-way is mostly used on larger trailers that use electric trailer brakes. If you for see using both connectors the 7-way will allow you to use an Adapter # 78118 to go down to a 4-way or you can replace the included 7-way with the 7- and 4-Pole Trailer Connector Socket # HM40975.
