Our reverse lights on our goose kneck flash constantl when hooked to our ford ranger do u no why?

It sounds like the problem lies in either the trailer connector on your Ford Ranger or on your trailer. If I had to guess it sounds like the 12 volt accessory circuit from either trailer connector is shorting out to the reverse light circuit intermittently and that is why the reverse lights are flashing.
I would recommend you inspect the trailer wiring on both connectors looking for any corrosion or anything else that could cause a short and fix as necessary.
