How Would Hollywood Racks Destination Carry Aventon Pace 500 Step Thru

Question:

I am considering buying Hollywood Destination E-Bike Rack. I have a question about the top mounting position options for my rear bike which is an Aventon Pace 500 Step-thru frame. The front bike is an Aventon Aventure fat tire bike. I plan to attach the top rack bracket to the seat post on this one. This bike appears to block access to attaching the rear bike bracket to the seat post of the rear bike. Do I need a cross bar top tube adapter on the rear Pace 500 step-thru bike to attach the longer rack bracket or, is there a way to attach the rear rack bracket without it? If I dont need an adapter, where on the rear bike do I attach it? Thanks for your help,

The Hollywood Racks Destination part # HLY66ZR that you referenced was designed for E-bikes like your Aventon Pace 500 that doesn't have a top crosstube. The frame clamp is pretty flexible in how it can attach to bike frames like yours and what most customers do if the bike doesn't have a top tube is attach it to the portion of the frame right below the seat post. You can see what I mean in the attached picture. This would allow you to not have to use an adapter bar.
