Question:
Some places in the description say this receiver has a line pull rating of 7500#. Some places in the description say this receiver has a line pull rating of 10000#. Which is correct? I want to use a 12000# pull winch. The closer the receiver gets to the 12000# rating, the better. If this is 7500#, I need to go for the Curt part.

I spoke to EcoHitch about the EcoHitch Hidden Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 306-X7900 and they confirmed that the line pull rating is 7,500 lbs. If you need a higher rating, I recommend the Curt Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C31015 (4WD Models Only) which has the highest line pull rating at 9,000 lbs.
