I’ve got a 2016 Ram 2500 6.5’ bed, using a Demco Autoslide for cab clearance. The trailer is a 2007 RAGE’N FA3405 with a pin weight of ~2100 and a gross weight of ~14300. The stock pin box is a Lippert 1716 with a 19k lb capacity. Will a Gen Y pinbox work with an Autoslide in this application and which would be best?

It is; I reached out to Demco to be certain, and they confirmed for me the Demco Autoslide 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Slider # DM8550034 is compatible with the Gen-Y Executive pin box. You'll also need a locking plate to prevent the king pin from pivoting in the hitch, and they told me for the Gen-Y, the correct locking plate is the Demco Autoslide Locking Plate # DM77GV.
As for the correct Gen-Y pin box to replace your Lippert 1716 on your trailer with a pin weight of about 2,100 lbs, the correct one is the Gen-Y Hitch Shock Absorbing 5th Wheel Pin Box # GY35FR.
The # GY35FR has an 18,000 lb overall capacity, and is designed for pin weights between 1,500 lbs and 3,000 lbs, so it's perfect for your application.
