Question:

I have a 2021 Holiday Rambler Vacationer 35K. I see the motor part# is 676062 and I see other numbers like B39-0634, and 372558. I believe it is the 5:1 Gearbox with the Link Assembly A. With this cold snap, it did a number on my steps and I believe the gearbox is stripped. The motor just kept running when the steps went out the last time. However, Im able to push the steps in and up with no problem motor not running. I assume Ill have to strap the steps up when we leave this campground. Can I purchase and replace just the Gearbox without replacing the motor as well? Or is that not advised? And if I can purchase the Gearbox alone what is that part number?

Before you replace anything make sure the linkage is still attached with the cotter pin. If it is not, reattaching the linkage will likely solve your problem. Assuming it is still attached, the tension has been lost within the linkage and gearbox assembly, and you will need to replace it with the Replacement Gear Box and A Linkage # LC379160.

It is perfectly acceptable to replace just the gearbox if the motor is functioning. However, if you need to replace the 676062 motor it is only available with the full assembly # LC62FR.
