Question:

I've got a truck with a significant lift so I need this 10 drop to tow my trailer. Will it hurt my trailer if the tongue weight isn't in that 400 to 1,100 lb range? I have one trailer that's smaller so it isn't as heavy but I don't tow it often.

If the trailer you're towing is outside the 400 lb - 1,100 lb tongue weight range of the Gen-Y Torsion 2-Ball Mount w/ Stacked Receivers # GY26FR then it basically renders the torsion system useless. If it's under that 400 lb mark you'll be fine as the ball mount will essentially operate like a fixed ball mount.

I do recommend picking up the InfiniteRule Lock Set # 34061651-D so you can lock all of the pin parts of this ball mount to your hitch receiver.
