For a hitch and wiring on your 2023 Hyundai Santa Cruz I recommend the following:

-Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C23WR

-Curt T-Connector # C68JR (If you have the factory tow package port)

-Tekonsha # TK44ZR (If you do not have the factory tow package)

The Curt hitch features a bolt-on installation and a gloss black powder coat finish. This has a max gross trailer weight of 5,000 lbs and comes with a limited lifetime warranty. For wiring I gave two options, one is a plug and play if you have the tow package connection, the other is universal. Both are from Tekonsha which is the most reliable when it comes to wiring.

If you need a ball mount as well, I recommend the etrailer Ball Mount Kit # 989900. This kit has two ball mounts, one with a 3/4" rise or 2" drop and the other with a 2-3/4" rise or 4" drop. It also comes with a 1-7/8" and 2" ball, as well as a ball mount bag to store everything in.
