Is Curt or Draw-Tite Hitch For 2023 Hyundai Santa Cruz Least Visible

Updated 05/06/2025 | Published 04/08/2024

Question:

Which of the hitches for a 2023 Hyundai Santa Cruz is least visible, tucks up underneath best, from the back, the Curt or the Draw-Tite? Thank you. P.S. e-trailer is the best! Gene

Hey Gene, first of all, thanks very much for the kind words it is absolutely appreciated. And between the two hitches for your 2023 Hyundai Santa Cruz, the one that is least visible is the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C23WR.

When we test fit these, we found the # C23WR is tucked up about an inch more than the Draw-Tite # DT48GR.

I have added a photo showing the Curt hitch on a Santa Cruz, and as you can see most of the tube is hidden behind the step portion of the bumper. Some of it is still going to be showing due to the design of the Santa Fe bumper, but with the Curt it's less visible than with the Draw-Tite.

Is the bottom of the receiver tube higher on the Curt? I need as much ground clearance as possible.

@Frederick sorry for the delay on this our comments weren't coming through. The distance from the ground to the top inside edge of the receiver on the Curt # C23WR is 14". This means it has an extra 1" of clearance compared to the Draw-Tite # DT48GR which is 13" from the ground to the top inside edge.
