Question:

5th wheel 240re impression pre wired for cam. Housing on back for rear cam. And would like to add side cams where marker lights are will they then only work when lights are on which would be preferred by myself as well as rear cam so I can watch in transit as well as backing up all with lights on

Your Forest River Impression 240re came pre-wired for a Furrion observation system like the # FOS43TASF so it would install and work easily. With this kit you'd only have to turn on your running lights or headlights at any point and you'd be able to see behind the trailer. The camera has night vision as well so it would work great in that regard too.

Since you wanted the a three camera setup I would recommend the part # FCE48TASL-07 instead though as this gives you a 7 inch display over the 4.3 inch of the other one and gives you cameras for both sides of the trailer as well which gives you even more visibility.
