You can use 14 or 16 gauge wire, either will be able to safely handle the amp load on your 2018 Chevrolet Silverado.
Here are a few choices we have 14 Gauge Primary Wire - Yellow - # DW02412-1 and 14 Gauge Primary Wire - Red - # DW02422-1 as well as 14 Gauge Primary Wire - Blue - # DW02414-1.
