Question:

I have a LS MT347 ag tractor. I purchased a round pin to spade adapter from you guys. The running lights, brake lights and turn lights all work on my utility trailers and dump trailer. I purchased a brake controller from Etrailer as well. From the wiring diagram of my tractors trailer plug it appears I will need to re wire the plug to include a trailer brake. I haven’t been able to find a wire diagram that shows the adapters wiring. If any pins cross over to a different spade. My tractors wiring diagram has the center pin as an auxiliary. If I need to re wire the tractors plug I may as well change it to a spade.

Appreciate the photo of your 7-round connector and I have added a diagram showing the pin differences from a 7-way round like yours to a 7-blade, which is what the pins will be for the Hopkins Trailer Connector Adapter - 7-Pole Round Pin to 7-Pole RV # HM47425.

To use a trailer brake controller you can change out to a standard 7-way since there isn't a brake controller wire option on your current 7-way; you can re-wire it with the Hopkins Endurance Quick-Install 7-Way Trailer Connector with Universal Pigtail Harness # HM47210.

On this the wiring is as follows:

White wire - Ground
Yellow wire - Left turn
Green wire - Right turn
Brown wire - Taillight
Red wire - Auxiliary power
Blue wire - Electric Brake
Purple wire - Backup / Reverse
