Left Stop/Turn Signal Issue with 7-Way Vehicle Power Adapter for Furrion RV Observation Camera

Question:

When I plug the Furrion adapter into my 2019 GMC Denali the backup camera works, but my left turn signal and left brake light does not work. How do I correct this problem?

The 7-Way Vehicle Power Adapter for Furrion RV Observation Camera part # FR87PR shouldn't affect any of the trailer's lighting signals. If you feel it is then remove the adapter and recheck, if problems persist you know it's not the adapter. If the problems go away then plug the vehicle side of the adapter back in and test all the pins inside the trailer connector end for proper function. If the signal is not passing through then you know you have an issue with the adapter. I recommend making sure the plug is inserted fully and that you have good contact on all pins but that's about the only thing else you can do besides replace the adapter but keep in mind it does have a five year warranty.
