I see that you recommend PWE3231SC which is a square link chain for my 295/65R18 tire, but can you recommend a V-Bar chain for my tire? i will be driving out on Frozen lakes for ice fishing and want the best possible traction.

I recommend The Pewag Tire Chain - Zig-Zag Pattern # PW94FR for your 2016 Ford F-250 Super Duty with 295/65R18 tires. The zig-zag pattern provides the maximum traction in snow, ice, and mud and mounts easily with a hook and lever. We do not offer or our competitors do not offer a V-bar style chain for 295/65R18 tires. I like the zig zag pattern over the other tire chains that we offer for you size tires because it helps deliver a smoother, and more stable ride than traditional ladder patterns. I also recommend using The Glacier Multi-Arm Tire Chain Tensioners # PW105.Using these with the tire chains mentioned above will allow you to fit and tension your snow chains quickly and easily.
