I have found the info to install the CURT Brake Control Harness #51515 on a 2008 Silverado is it the same as a 2013 Silverado? I am using this harness to connect to a Curt Tri-flex brake controller.

Helpful Expert Reply:
The Curt Brake Controller Harness you referenced, part # C51515, can be used for both the 2008 and 2013 model years of the Chevrolet Silverado since it is a universal-fit harness.
For your 2013 Silverado you will want to follow the procedure outlined in the linked article. Please refer to the photo provided which shows the vehicle tow package wiring that can be found under the dash. You will connect these wires to the leads on the Curt harness as per the article, using butt connectors like part # 05732-2 from Deka. (This is a set of two connectors, so you will need to order two of them to have four in total.)
The vehicle wires will connect to the Curt harness as follows:
Vehicle RED wire connects to Harness BLACK wire.
Vehicle DARK BLUE wire connects to Harness BLUE wire.
Vehicle LIGHT BLUE wire connects to Harness RED wire.
Vehicle WHITE wire connects to Harness WHITE wire.
Once these splices are made using butt connectors you will then need to make some wiring connections in the engine compartment, in the power distribution box, located on the driver-side. The article provides photos and instructions for activating the 7-way 12-volt power feed. It may be necessary to install fuses to activate the power feed if they are not already in place.
I have also linked a video showing installation of this harness in a 2008 Silverado; the overall process is essentially the same for the 2013 model year.
