Troubleshooting Prest-O-Fit Step Rug Not Quite Lining Up w/ the Holes on a 2023 Keystone Montana

Question:

2023 Keystone Montana 3781RL Legacy edition I purchased these for our new camper. The three bottom step covers all look great. When I tried to install the top step cover, the openings in the steps for the straps and the straps for the top step cover do not line up. I believe that these are the appropriate covers because we do not have a locking pin and only a button to adjust the steps, but the top cover can not be installed because it does not line up. Any help that you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

The Prest-O-Fit 4-Piece Step Rug Set # PR83SR is designed for the 2nd generation MORryde StepAbove steps. The 2nd generation does have the push button for the leg adjustment, not the pin. So you are correct there. With your Keystone Montana 3781RL being a 2023 and having the Keystone branding on the steps, it is possible that the steps are different than the 2nd generation MORryde steps.

Taking a look at the picture it looks like even though they are not perfectly aligned, you should be able to get the carpet strap through the hole and be able to attach the retention spring to hold the carpet on.
