What is the depth of the fitting from the flange to the outer edge of the bayonet side? Is this dimension the same in the La Salle version as the Valterra version.

The depth of the 3" tube to the flange on the LaSalle Bristol RV Lug Adapter with Flange # 34466V13B is approximately 1-1/4" deep. The Valterra RV Sewer Lug Fitting with Flange # T1009 has a 1-1/8" depth, which is the only difference between the two flanges.

We have the LaSalle #34466V153 which will slide on over your 1-1/2" pipe to give you 3" pipe. From here you can use #T1028 to give you the bayonet fitting you're needing. Use the solvent cement #3447530889 to complete installation and…

We have the LaSalle Bristol Eccentric Tank Reducer #34466V153 which can slide over your 1-1/2 inch diameter gray pipe to give you a 3 inch pipe that you could then attach the 3 inch pipe to 3 inch bayonet adapter part #T1028 and you'd be set.

The difference between hubs and spigots in terms of RV waste valves like the part #T40A is that hubs fit over pipes and spigots fit into them instead. So it really comes down to if you have a preference but the #T40A is a spigot on both sides.
