Single axle 4 leaf. Will at 1/4 inch make a difference in installing?

That depends; what you want are leaf springs that measure (center eye to center eye) slightly shorter than your current springs because they elongate over time and use. So it's actually better to go with 1/4" shorter springs than what yours measure now; so if you have 25-1/2" springs then the 25-1/4" will be great:

What you don't want are springs that are longer than what yours measure now, so the 1/4" would make a difference in that regard.
