Replacement Vesper Trailer Wheel For A 12,000 Pound Gooseneck Trailer

Question:
Hi, Ive got these rims on a goose neck trailer that where the trailer weight and cargo weight probably had a total weight of 10000 to 12000 lbs max. Had one of these rims crack at the weld where the center is welded to the rim itself and start leaking air. These rims should support nearly 18000 lbs and I do understand pot holes and things like that come into play, but have yall been seeing or hearing this a lot with these rims? Just never had one do this in all my years of hauling as I try to be very cautious, so was just wondering if it was a fluke manufacturing defect that just decided to show itself or something else.

With your rim cracking at the weld where the center is welded sounds like it is a defect. The Vesper Steel Modular Trailer Wheel # MX59FR has a 2 year warranty. If you're under that warranty please call us if you ordered the wheel from us. If it is past the warranty we can get you a replacement wheel out the door.
The wheel is made out of a heavy-duty steel and has a modular design and is rust resistant. The wheel has a capacity up to 4,460 pounds.
