What is the measurement of the maximum rise that will work with the DM8550046 adapter

Your gooseneck hitch ball with a rise of 1" will be compatible with the Demco Recon Gooseneck-to-5th Wheel Trailer Hitch Adapter # DM8550046. Really the only requirement for fitment is that the top of the hitch ball needs to be at least 13/16" or closer to the top of the truck bed for these to fit together.

Demco doesn't have a specific "rise" spec for compatibility with the Demco Recon # DM8550046. They just say that the top of the goose ball can be flush to 13/16” below the top truck bed floor, but NO more than 13/16” below the truck bed floor. From the photo you sent in it looks like your gooseneck hitch ball is still below the truck bed floor so as long as it's no more than 13/16" below the floor you're good to go!
