Question:
Can I charge my Yeti 1500X from my car?

Expert Reply:
Yes! You can charge your Goal Zero Yeti 1500X Lithium Portable Power Station # GZ64FR from your vehicle using 2 different methods; the Regulated Car Adapter # 287-98079 or the Yeti Link Vehicle Integration Kit # GZ43ZR.
The difference between the two options is that the Car Adapter is easier to use/install but is more like a trickle charger while the Vehicle Integration Kit pulls power directly from your alternator and is more powerful so it doesn't take as long to charge.
If you only plan on charging the Yeti once or twice a year from your vehicle then the Car Adapter will suffice, but if you plan on using it frequently you'll want to go with the Vehicle Integration Kit.
