Question:

Hello. I was given a curt echo wireless brake controller at the airstream dealership for my basecamp 16x. I have a 2019 audi q5 prestige with towing package. I also received a furrion adapter to allow the voyager backup camera to receive power. With all that, the curt bottomed out in a parking situation in a potholed and snapped in half. Is it possible to use the furrion power adapter first, plugged into the TV, then the curt echo, then the trailer cable? Will the curt still control the brakes through the furrion adapter? This way I can bend them upward so they dont hit the road. Side question, will this combo still charge the trailer battery? Thanks!

Yes, you can install the Curt Echo # C51180 first or second to the Furrion 7-Way adapter part # FR87PR in the 7-way of your vehicle. Both will still function just fine and also the 12 volt charge circuit would still pass through to charge the battery of the trailer as well.
