In regards to the Furrion Vision S Wireless RV Backup Camera System part # FOS43TASF, the male end is on the camera side and the female end is on the trailer side. If the trailer was pre-wired correctly for the Furrion Vision S Wireless RV Backup Camera System it would have a female plug behind the cover which matches up with the male plug on the camera. The plug is actually included with the kit so if you didn't have the correct one you'd simply just wire the one that came with the kit, there's only two wires one being power and the other ground. The power is usually black and the ground is usually white but I do recommend testing with a test light first.
Please note, there is another camera system trailers can come pre-wired for and that is the Voyager WiSight 2.0 Wireless Backup Camera System part # ASA24YR which as you can see uses a different plug design.
