According to my research, Group 27 batteries measure 12" long x 7" wide x 9" tall so to hold 3 Group 27 batteries I recommend using the TorkLift PowerArmor Locking Battery Box which comes as a plain box with part # TLA7710R or a box with a small trickle-charge solar panel as part # TLA7710RS.
This box measures 58-1/2" long x 7-5/8" wide x 12-3/4" tall so it can actually accommodate up to 4 Group 27 batteries which just means you'll have extra room for any tie-downs or other equipment as well. Another feature I like about this box is the lock on the side for the lid. It's a simple way to discourage tampering with your batteries.
We do have some smaller boxes you can combine for different scenarios but I think going with 1 bigger box is the best way.
