2018 Jayco Melbourne Motorhome
just what I nedeed.
by:
Perfect products for my RV needs.
by:
This extension allowed me to plug in my trailer with out the need of the normal service cord. Using a much more inexpensive extension cord. It allows me the run the entire system except the AC, It keeps the battery charged, lights operative, It also allowed me have power at anytime why'll in storge. Do know this is a temporary usage not intended to live using this adaptor
by:
Does the job well. It's my "maintenance" adapter and I use it daily to keep the batteries charged, and for anything I do while the trailer is home (lights, furnace, fridge etc). It doesn't allow us to run the A/C obviously but that's not what I wanted this for.
by:
I can rate etrailer as excellent based on their online mail order delivery. I ordered a Mighty Cord RV Plug Adapter.
by:
Makes a house to trailer connection easy without using trailer electrical cord. etrailer has everything and knowledgeable staff.
by:
I needed this to keep RV horse trailer batteries charged when not in use. Do not need the thirty amp plug with this pigtail and an extension cord. Great idea.
by:
I've only used it once, to plug in my cargo trailer-->camper conversion into my house to test out the A/C. The adapter feels heavy duty and worked well. There's not much more I can say about it.
by:
Mighty cord works perfect! Very helpful keeping battery charged! Looking forward to cooling fridge before traveling!!Thank you etrailer for providing great quality products!!!
by:
Product worked great as an adapter for my boat's shore power plug. Boat is in my back yard, have no intention to use the adapter when the boat is in the water. It was shipped and arrived very fast, however the box was destroyed when it got here.Thankfully this adapter was the only thing in the box and it survived.
by:
Speedy delivery. Inexpensive compared to others. Will recommend to everyone. Will be useful when camping where I can hook up to electricity. I also like that it will lock in place so hopefully no worries on accidental unplugging. I will recommend you guys to everyone, thank you. Come on camping season

Extremely fast shipping-3 days and it was here regular mail. Fits as I had hoped-will be used with an extension cord to run the refrigerator and battery charger in the driveway prior to leaving on camping trips.

by:
This power cord seems to be good quality. I have used it with no problems.

  • Is Surge Protector Required When Connecting 30 Amp RV to 15 Amp Home Outlet
Although a surge protector like the # HU97FR is always a good idea it isn't required. The only thing you really need is an adapter like the # A10-1530DBK or # CAM55223 to be able to plug into your home outlet.

  • Can I Use Flex Power 2200 Watt Portable Generator With Camper That Has 30A Hookup?
Hey Ryan! You can use the Flex Power 2,200-Watt Portable Inverter Generator # FP34FR with your 30a hookup as long as you connect it with the correct extension cord and RV adapter, like # CAM55223 or # A10-1530DBK. The important thing to keep in mind is that the generator is still limited to 1,900 running watts, even if it is plugged into the RV’s shore power inlet. That makes it a good fit for battery charging, lights, TVs, small electronics, and lighter campsite loads. It is not going...

  • Can Watchdog Surge Protector 30A Be Used With 15A Residential Adapter For Storage?
Yes Keith, the Watchdog Surge Protector # HU72VR will still protect your RV even if you’re plugged into a 15A residential circuit with an adapter like Mighty Cord RV Power Cord Adapter - 30 Amp Twist Lock Female to 15 Amp Male # A10-1530DBK. It doesn’t care about the amp rating - it just watches the voltage and wiring for safety. The only difference is you’ll be limited on what you can run in the RV running off only 15A as opposed to 30A. Perfect for keeping batteries charged and the fridge...

  • Adapter Options to Connect 220 Volt RV to 110 Volt Outlet on Campground Power Source
It really just depends on the style of 220 volt outlet you need. If it's a 50 amp style you'd want the part # A10-1550. If it's a 30 amp twist lock style you'd want the part # A10-1530DBK. I also attached a link to a page that has all of the different styles of adapters we have that would plug into a 110 outlet like you need.

  • Connecting RV to Outlet at Home
What I understand is that you are wanting to install a 30 amp RV receptacle at home, same as you would have on an RV power pedestal at the campsite. This type outlet is best sourced locally at your nearby hardware store. You will need to use at least 10 gauge wire for this. However, if you already have a 15 amp outlet available in your barn, you can use the Mighty Cord RV Power Cord Adapter that mates a 30 Amp Twist Lock Female to a 15 Amp Male, # A10-1530DBK. This allows you to easily...

  • Is There a 15/20 Amp Power Inlet for Trailers
I do have an option for you but all of our power inlets are 30 or 50 amps as that is what you will find at an RV park. That said, you can use an adapter if you need to hook up to a 15 or 20 amp outlet. For a 30 amp RV inlet I recommend Mighty Cord Replacement RV Power Inlet part # A10-30INVP. You can then use the Mighty Cord RV Power Cord Adapter part # A10-1530DBK so you can hook up to a 15 amp outlet.

  • Converter from Standard 120V Outlet on Generator to 30 Amp Camper Plug
You can use the Mighty Cord RV Power Cord Adapter - 30 Amp Twist Lock Female to 15 Amp Male - 12" - Yellow # A10-1530DBK or the Mighty Cord RV Power Cord Adapter Plug - 30 Amp Female to 15 Amp Male - Round # A10-1530ARDVP if you don't have the twist lock. These adapters allow you to plug your camper into your generator.

  • Recommended ATV Winch w/a Wireless Remote
Welcome back Chad. For a winch you can add a wireless remote to, I recommend the Superwinch SP 45SR ATV Series Winch item # SW87QR. You can then add the Wireless Remote Control Kit for Superwinch 12V Electric Winches item # SW43GR. Our etrailer ATV Winch item # e98989 you were looking at does not have an optional wireless remote. It comes with a wired handheld remote only. The Superwinch SP 45SR ATV Series Winch item # SW87QR has a 4,500 lbs capacity and comes with a 40' long synthetic...

  • Which Portable Generator Is Best For Camper With 30A Hookup ?
Good morning Dennis! You can technically use either one with your camper as long as you have the right adapter, but the Flex Power 3,300-Watt Portable Inverter Generator # FP54FR is the more RV-friendly choice. The smaller Flex Power 2,200-Watt # FP34FR can connect to an RV inlet with an extension cord and the correct RV adapter like # CAM55223 or # A10-1530DBK, but it is still limited to 1,900 running watts. That makes it better for lighter loads like battery charging, lights, TVs, small...

  • 30 Amp Twist Lock Adapter to 15 Amp Adapter for Connecting RV to House Outlet
The power at your house would be on a 15 amp outlet so the adapter you'd need is the # A10-1530DBK which uses he same 30 amp twist lock connector as your # A10-30INVP and converts it to the same 15 amp socket your house has.

  • RV Power Cord Adapter That Is Compatible With A 30A Furrion Inlet And A Standard Extension Cord
The Furrion Marine Power Cord Adapter # FP5515SY will unfortunately not work with the Furrion Replacement RV Power Inlet # F30ITSSS, however I do have another option. Instead, I recommend using the Mighty Cord RV Power Cord Adapter # A10-1530DBK. This adapter has a 30A female twist-lock connector on one end so you can connect to the Furrion Inlet # F30ITSSS, and a 15A standard straight blade end on the other side.

  • Recommended Replacement Power Inlet Solution for a 2012 Forest River WIldwood TT
Bob, I do have something you can work with, but all of our power inlets are 30 or 50 amps because that's what you'll find at an RV park. So, that being said, you're going to need swap your current inlet with a 30 amp inlet, and then use an adapter to hook up to a 15 amp outlet. For a 30 amp inlet I recommend checking out the Mighty Cord Replacement RV Power Inlet part # A10-30INVP, and then from here you can just use the Mighty Cord RV Power Cord Adapter part # A10-1530DBK so you can...
