Recommended Fold-Down RV Step For The Inside Of A Gooseneck Trailer

Question:
We are looking for a fold up step for a gooseneck trailer floor to gooseneck bed height from floor height is 49 inches

Expert Reply:
The only fold-down style step we currently offer that can meet a 49" entry height would be the TorkLift GlowStep Revolution Uprising Steps w/ Booster Step # TL64YR. This does require a doorway width of 28" for the mounting bracket.
Based on the information you've provided I assume these would be installed on a second level floor and coming down to the main floor of the gooseneck trailer. If that's the case and there isn't a door threshold available for the steps to mount to then you would need to install some sort of framing for the steps that to mount to and a has a lip to fold up against and lock into place.
If you can provide me with some pictures of your setup it would help me find the best solution to your needs.
