EZ-Lube Grease Cap For 5K Dexter Torsion Axle

My trailer has 5k Dexter ez-lube torsion axles. The studs broke on one goodbye wheel! and when the wheel exited the stage, it took the dust cap? with it. The end of the axle is an open cylinder where the bearing + washers + nut sit, and the cap covers that..so now that grease covered bearing is exposed.. Is that part sold separately? I have pictures - just no way to upload them here... Im guessing my explanation may not be super clear... I need to buy the cap... Thanks!

That stinks that the wheel studs broke but we do have exactly what you need to replace the grease cap on your 5k EZ-Lube Dexter torsion axle. The cap and rubber plug come separately, so what you need is the following:

- EZ Lube Grease Cap # 21-42-1

- Rubber Lube Plug # DC-RP

The correct dust cover/cap for the DeeMax 6k idler hub part #DE96VR is the #F001520.

In order to determine the torque rating for the lug nuts on your trailer you will need to know check out the chart I attached that shows all of the torque specs for all the trailer lugs available based on stud size, wheel material and wheel size.
