Does rv water heater door DMC84FR fit atwood/dometec g6ae 8e heater? What are dimensions?

The Water Heater Door Conversion Kit item # DMC24FR (black) is designed for replacing Atwood/Dometic water heaters with a cut-out of 12-1/2"x16-1/2" so it would not completely fill in the gaps of your Atwood G6A-6E water heater. From what I could find it looks like yours is 14" x 17-3/4" so you would need to potentially frame out the extra gaps.
