Replacement Hex Extension Rod For Solera Slide Toppers

Question:
My bedroom slide awning has apparently hung up, bending the hex support bar. This has stopped the slide from fully extending. After looking at it I found the plexiglass was binding against the awning roller not allowing the awning to spin freely. I can now move the awning by hand but I need to straighten the hex bar. Any suggestions?

I recommend replacing the Extension Rod for your slide topper. With your current rod being bent even if you were able to bend it back straight it will more easily bend in the future or could break. We have the following extension rods for the Solera slide toppers. If you have a Dometic or Carefree you will need to contact them for the correct part.
