How to Determine the Largest Yakima LockNLoad Platform Rack That Can Be Used on a 2006 Honda Element

Question:

Hi, I have a 2006 Honda Element. I was wanting to know what is the recommended Platform size I can get for the Yakima LockNLoad system. I would like to get the 84x60 If possible and if theres a way to make this happen? I Have the Skyline Towers and Aerobars. Im just looking for clarification to fit a certain RTT on the roof have extra reinforcement. If that size will even fit?

You will be able to use the Yakima LockNLoad Platform Rack for Crossbars # Y05049-39 as long as the spacing between your crossbars is between 39" and 50.5" wide and 35" and 62.5" long.

I have included a picture of the fit guide chart for the Yakima LockNLoad system, you can use this and the measurements from the roof rack on your 2006 Honda Element to select the largest platform rack compatible with your Element and roof rack.
