Question:

I went underneath the drivers side dash and next to the ODBII connector I see a connector which looks like the brake controller connector for use with the Plug-and-Play Wiring Harness for Redarc Tow-Pro Trailer Brake Controllers item # RED59FR I compared this to what others are saying on the passport forums and it looks likes the connector. I just want to double check.

The Tekonsha Plug-In Wiring Adapter item # 3070-P you were looking at is confirmed to fit the newer Honda's with the tow packages. In order to use that on your 2022 Honda Pilot without the tow package you will need the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness for Factory Tow Package item # 118286. This harness has all of the connectors necessary to activate the a 7-way at the rear of your Pilot. The port you are referencing should be activated once you connect this harness.

To use the Tekonsha Plug-In Wiring Adapter item # 3070-P with a Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty item # RED24FR you will also need the Plug-and-Play Wiring Harness for Redarc Tow-Pro Trailer Brake Controllers item # RED59FR you referenced.
